Commercial PocketQube IoT from Türkiye#
Following the university flight heritage of Grizu-263A in January 2022, members of its founding engineering team established the commercial startup Hello Space to build a PocketQube-based narrowband Internet-of-Things (IoT) constellation[1]. Three spacecraft were launched in 2023 within the census window:
| Spacecraft | Size | Launch date | Launch vehicle & deployer | Mission role |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Istanbul | 1P | 12 June 2023 | Falcon 9 Transporter-8 (D-Orbit ION) | pathfinder verifying the commercial IoT transceiver chain in Sun-synchronous orbit. |
| Hello Test-1 | 2P | 11 November 2023 | Falcon 9 Transporter-9 (D-Orbit ION) | bus with increased solar area and battery capacity for multi-pass store-and-forward payload testing. |
| Hello Test-2 | 2P | 11 November 2023 | Falcon 9 Transporter-9 (D-Orbit ION) | Co-manifested sibling operating in the same Sun-synchronous plane. |
